cottagegifts I did some cursory research and your bag may date from the 1930’s. The words that people have been using that have sold it are “pillow” “hardshell” “flapper” “Art Deco.”

allison_kelsey @pluswear yes pillow purse is what I call it. India made some of these in the 70's as well so I'm not sure when this was made. But it's heavy tough old purse. It's so cute as well

shoponlive @allison_kelsey last pic is tricky on the eye when its open but I analyzed its shape underneath is same but from above view looks round. Anyway, hope you don't ming. Just came to see what other metal bags are here because I have another one. This one is divine! Super cool! The vintage mini ones are so awesome. Sold one that I regret but I have another one I will regret listing too. Thanks for updating this one, thats how I found it. These need more appreciation, VINTAGE will get it though.

shoponlive @allison_kelsey oh the metallic woven one? Couldn’t tell, doesn’t look metal but regular metallic purse similar to other bags unless its actually metal. Its still cool but this one is by far more unique looking.
