Vintage burgundy cigarette glasses purse

This item is a vintage burgundy purse by St. Thomas. The accents are gold and the interior is black velour. The purse is in good condition. There are no stains to the interior. The front and the back look almost identical. The front of the purse is showcased in the first photo and the back is showcased in the photo with the brown passport holder. I thought it was a cigarette purse but it has a black velour tongue, that can be seen in the photo where the purse is open, which separates the purse into two sides making me think this is a glasses bag.
