Beautiful vintage red and blue floral butterfly embroidered qipao with high slits up side of skirt that make this a mini dress from the side, and a maxi dress from the front/back. I bought this from an antique store more than 20 years ago. Looser silhouette typical of 1930s era.
Mandarin collar. Immaculate condition, odorless. Zipper closure.

@nicole_lillie hi! The only spare thread i could pull without damaging it is from the hemline, and it reacted to flame like a synthetic fiber (pulled back, melted into a black ball).. It’s not unreasonable to assume the dress is synthetic given that it is from the Kate 60s/early 70s.
