Vintage c. 1790 English Large Double Jug Handled Floral Pattern Antique Pearlware Three Frog Mug Loving Cup Measures roughly 5” tall x 6” in diameter x 8.5” wide. Three frogs inside, as this was considered the pinnacle of hilarity in the period. Very thick and sturdy, and well-preserved, especially considering its age. Superficial crazing throughout, and a couple harlirines: one on handle, and one on the inside near rim, by opposite handle. Beautiful and rare piece. sold as pictured.
