Vintage c1990 Napier Resin Flowers & Faux-Pearl Pierced Earrings

c1990 goldtone pink resin flowers with faux-pearl center and faux-pearl drop pierced earrings. Marked "Napier." Measure: 1 1/2 inches long by 1/2 inches wide. Condition: Very good; very minor hard to see surface wear to pearls. Vintage Napier jewelry was made in Meriden, Connecticut and is very high quality and desirable. In the 1950s, jewelry by Napier was worn by celebrities including Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day, Mamie Eisenhower and Miss America. A necklace sold by Napier in the 1980s or 1990s could cost $100 or more. The plant in Meriden was closed in 2000 and the company sold in 2002, so while the company name still exists, the jewelry is now mass produced.
