hecateandnyx @mholms see additional photos. The white speck under his ear on the wreath is not a chip, it's just a spec that did not get colored paint. It is smooth and painted. The only noticeable thing I see are a couple specs above the eye on the wreath ornament.

mholms On the one with the wreath, on the side the has 1978. Does the red part on the wreath have a chip? Or is it a white speck? Also, as is with most ceramics, is there any crazing?
