Vintage copper jam pot in excellent condition. No dents, holes or signs of wear. Some slight oxidation from age. Handles are attached with rivets and it has a rolled edge.
This shape of copper pot is used to cook jam or slow cook dishes. Solid copper, from Mexico, 1980s. Diameter is 12", diameter at base is 8 1/4" and height is 5 1/2".

Hi there! By chance could the inside of the pot be a copper overlay over stainless steel? Are these pieces pretty heavy?

@adamandmaryt Hi! I can confirm that the pot is solid copper. I bought it from artisans in a town in central Mexico that are known for their copper work. You can see the hammer marks on the bottom. I have two of these pots listed; the smaller size in this listing weights 2.5 pounds and the larger one in my other listing is almost 6 pounds. I hope this was helpful.
