Vintage cotton men’s shirt, pool cover up L/XL

This is a very cool vintage shirt, fabric is likely 1950’s. Is an amazing red-orange with dark brown bird of paradise print and gold coloring to the tips of the flowers. I think is homemade, it has 2 snaps for closure, so strikes me as a pool cover up. But it would be great to wear out for the summer! No tags, will likely fit like an XL.
