Vintage cotton nautical dress with hand embroidered applique penguins sz 4

Crisp light blue cotton sleeveless pinafore dress with nautical flag appliqués and two jaunty penguins with sailor hats size 4, handmade in Madeira, Portugal, circa 1960s. No content label, but definitely all cotton fabric. There are a few spots that I didn’t try to remove and may come out if treated - see photos. Hem was adjusted at some point by hand, but done professionally- see photos. No other flaws. A simple classic design with impeccable attention to detail. The most charming vintage dress.
