Vintage deep maroon garnet and silver bead necklace 18”

There are no marks, but the tarnish on the silver beads leads me to believe it’s sterling I have had this for about 20 years, not sure how old it was when I acquired Beautiful deep dark red garnet beads with a slightly purple tinge in very bright light Perfect condition
