Vintage deep midnight blue tucked, gathered and wrapped "fez" style hat.

This is a vintage deep midnight blue tucked, gathered and wrapped "fez" style hat. It is a remarkable 1960s timepiece, beautifully sculpted on the outside and controlled on the inside band with tiny hand stitching and a lace lining. A marvelous example of millinery ingenuity. No size indicated, but I would guess a small to medium women's head size. If a size marker from another of the hats in this collection is any indication, it is possibly a 22" crown.
