Really beautiful dress from my grandma From the early 1940’s late 30’s Pretty navy blue One small hole in one of the armpits I think can be easily fixed A couple of stain see last couple pictures I have never tried to clean it. My sister wore it once in 2000 and might have gotten the food stains on it 😖 It’s been in a closet forever and I want someone to appreciate it. Any questions please ask me. I will respond back quickly

lovingthisvtg does the dress have a musty smell? do you think the spots could be mold or mildew?

karrieann425 @lovingthisvtg I don’t think it smells musty and I can’t stand smells like perfume or fabric softener & detergent lol. It’s been in my guest closet. I never noticed anything. Slightly old smell. Mold…. Nah I really think it’s food. From a murder party 1997. I’ll add some new pics in the California sun today 🌧️

karrieann425 I just used some Luke warm water and gently patted the stain it is definitely food. And my mother when I asked her this afternoon didn’t think it smelled either if that helps. 😌
