Vintage early to mid 1900's Marla D Side Zipper Dress/Appr Sz 6

Beautiful Vintage early to mid 1900's Marla D ( Dan River Fabric) Side Zipper Dress in Blue/Green/Red Plaid. The fabric is a cotton but does have a slight texture almost like a linen look in the weave. The side zipper is on the left - i have shown it open and also closed in the photos. There is a nice pocket on the right-hand side of the dress. The neckline is very unique so I have shown that closeup in the photos also. This dress is in very good vintage condition - probably was a "Sunday" dress. The colors are so pretty. There is a cute little pleat in the bottom back of the skirt to give more room for walking since it is a fitted dress. The measurements are Bust is 34 inches; Waist is 24 inches; The hips are 38 inches and the width of the skirt at the bottom with the pleat in back open is 44 inches. There is a roomy two-inch hem as shown. The length from the waistline to the bottom is 26.5 inches and the waist from the top of the dress by the collar to the waist is 16.5 inches. There are also buttons and opening front which extends down to the waistline. There are beltloops, but no belt included. One could wear a solid color narrow belt with it very easily.
