Vintage embroidered fabric folding hand fan with floral motif

Vintage, maybe circa 60s, hand fan made from bamboo and fabric that seems to be linen or linen-blend, with machine sewn embroidery forming a delicate scattering of cherry blossoms. The fabric also has a faint printed pattern of cherry blossoms and a printed Chinese character. There are two petals carved into one of the bamboo guards and a small metal blossom decorating one end of the rivet. Attached to the other end of the rivet is a string with several decorative knots. Good condition for its age. The bamboo is split in several places along the back side. Some discoloration to string and in several places on the leaves. A bit of very minor fraying to the lower edge of the leaves. The fan is unable to close completely (see last pic), however despite this and the other flaws, the fan can still be used as a fan and certainly could be displayed for decorative purposes. It measures about 8" tall and 14.5" wide when fully open. Questions &/ offers welcome! (lowballs ignored)
