Made in Hong Kong: I’m guessing this is from the 60s. I’m very good shape, with No. 25 embossed in small letters inside celluloid handle. Interior fabric is black, with one interior pocket large enough for a compact or tissues.

rajasgal @waltonmi no I don’t know the fabric. The purse is lined and the lining has some Oomph to it, so that the contents are protected a bit. The fabric does have a shine to it. As it was made in British Hong Kong - the style, clasp and tag saying “ made in HK” all indicate 1970s, I’m pretty sure it’s a man made material.
