Vintage fish skeleton silver brooch

This unique brooch is from my mother in law’s collection and it’s so abstract and unusual. I am pretty sure I heard her say she purchased it in Mexico and that it was Taxco but I cannot find the marking, but when I pulled it out of her brooch case it was very tarnished and I easily shined it up with my silver cloth. Definitely not pewter. Perfect to add to any resort wear or beach summer outfit. See pictures for details and approximate measurements I will call it silvertone, but I’m pretty certain it’s silver.
