Vintage floral Stratton compact with mirror, excellent condition, 1950s

Made in the 1950s, this vintage Stratton compact has a colorful enamel floral design on the front and a gold toned back. Inside is a small mirror; when the compact is opened fully, an inner lid pops open to reveal space for loose setting powder, held in place by a removable mesh covering. Made in England in the 1950s as evidenced by the design on the back (stars, no "Stratton" label) Both closures work. Mesh to sit on top of powder is intact, original puff is not. Some wear to the back, front enamel is in excellent condition considering its age; very minor scratches can be seen. Outside diameter measures 2 ½" Diameter of mirror measures 2 ⅛" Depth of powder compartment is approximately ⅛"
