Vintage framed paper folk art Scherenschnitte by Regina Walters 1980s

This is an excellent quality vintage 1989 Designs With Scissors Scherenschnitte. Scherenschnitte means "scissor cuts" in German. Artist's initials signed in lower right corner. Made in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Scherenschitte is the art of making intricate designs with scissors on paper. This cream-colored piece says "Each day is a new beginning" and unique alphabet and number designs surrounded by tulips, hearts, and bunny shapes. Comes ready to hang in a brown wooden frame that shows almost no wear.
