Is there a label that says it is beaver fur? I ask because I have learned recently that some sellers are saying black fur is beaver when it is actually seal. This is because they do not know the difference or because it is not legal to sell seal so they claim it is beaver. I don't have a problem with it either way I would just like to know what I am buying.
Maybe the tag actually states which type of fur it is? Or maybe a furrier has identified it? Is it in good condition?

It is hard to see the condition because it is so deep black. When you look down into the fur is it a bit lighter brown near the skin ( leather)?
Black seal naturally is a lighter dark brown near the skin. If it is beaver it has been dyed black because beavers are only brown in nature.
Is there a zipper pocket to carry a few items in the muff?
