Vintage handmade 2 piece pleated fully lined skirt and jacket red burgundy

This was handmade by a Hispanic neighbor of mine, she made it back in the 70s or 80s here in central Texas. It is in excellent condition aside from a few dark spots that would probably go away with washing. I’ve never worn or washed it because I was too afraid of messing up such a beautiful piece, and because it is a little too dark red for my taste. I’m a true spring color season and I go best with bright red. This red would probably work great for an autumn, maybe soft or warm. The zipper, hooks, and buttons are all in excellent condition as far as usability and security go. None are coming off. One button has some wear, but there are extra buttons inside for replacing.
