Vintage heavy duty copper with tin lined small pot

Classic French copper small tin lined pot with iron handles and hand hammered rivets Superb quality, well made Flat bottom Natura patina Clean but not polished, I like a vintage look. It polishes up to a beautiful bright copper! This useful and decorative small sauce pot is 5” and 2 1/2” tall. The iron handle is 5 1/2” x 1/2”. I like to use it for melting butter, chocolate and for warming up a quick soup. This cooper pot has a tin lining. Professional chiefs love it for its quick cooking. The tin gets hot at LOW temperatures. Beware! If cooked at the high temperatures, it will melt and bubble. There are companies that repair silver that will also repair the tin. I recommend using a wood, plastic spoon or spatula to prevent scratching the beautiful tin. This highly collectible piece is very old and I bought it while in Europe. It was shown as part of a hanging decor of copper pots and dried herbs. I will also have for sale on Poshmark a larger matching copper pot.
