Vintage highly collectible Norman Rockwell, papier-mâché country Doctor w/child

10x8.8”. This is just precious, old but so wonderful regarding the Dr taking time for modeling the needs of drs listening to children. Norman Rockwell gallery collection. I acquired this in stock bridge Massachusetts at the Norman Rockwell Museum. This was on the cover in 1929 of the Saturday evening post it is remarkably in good condition! The spindles on the back of the doctors chair have come out of their small little holes, but hardly noticeable. The three little faces are in perfect condition. ,such amazing detail! There may be somethings I do not see or know The material is amazing on the jackets. I think it’s material with some stiffening treatment. The faces and hands are in great shape. The rug feels like resin maybe? I love the detail of the doctors kit! And the details of the clothes down to the cuff of the doctor shirt. On his desk is a family portrait, two candleholders, his medical books, his degree, an inkwell pen, and paper are all there.
