Vintage ʻie tōga Falalili'i Samoan/Hawaiian/Fijian fine Woven mat For Occasions.

Item is in great condition for its age, it is handmade and has imperfections even when first made. Aprox 10 foot by 7.5 feet. Item does have small hole in the weaving, and definite sign of age, but overall in great condition. I'm not sure if these are mat or clothing. Wall tapestry? In this way, ʻie tōga are passed from family to family, sometimes for many years and are greatly valued. Historically, some ʻie tōga were so valuable they were given their own names.
