Vintage ivory

Vintage ivory whale tooth. This was my grandfather's given to me many years ago: My grandfather was traveling in 1960 with my grandmother in Fiji. Grandpa purchased it from a sea captain who they traveled with. The captain himself had purchased it as a good luck charm when he was a young man some 40 years earlier and setting off on his first voyage. I remember my grandfather showing it to me many times as a child and telling me the story of their travels ,the beautiful islands, the blue sky and of this lucky tooth 🐋🌊🏝️🗾 This is a lovely estate piece and has been lovingly kept safe and intact. Now it is time for it to find a new home and to bring the new owner good luck in his or her travels. This piece will make a very interesting and unusual gift, especially for that person who already "has everything"--you can bet they do not have this....
