laurelalyse Angie careful those 501s you commented on earlier tonight are not vintage. I've been seeing a lot of people saying that their Levi's are vintage when they are clearly not. Some people might not realize that, but some also might be trying to pass off modern ones as being vintage

laurelalyse Hahahaha 😂 it's hard to say exactly what to look for beside the look of the tags. Like any of the skinny ones that are attached on the waistband horizontally are not vintage. Also if the back tab is somewhat shiny, sometimes it's not vintage. Though some 512s and 950s have newer looking back tabs, they're still vintage. It's a crazy science I'm telling you!

laurelalyse Also it's hard to describe how to tell if the denim is vintage just by looking at it but I can. If it's streaky looking at all, it's not vintage. It's that new crap that Levi's started making

angiemc99 @laurelalyse I get what ur saying. Like any 900 series some have tags... the ones I got were so obvious tho as soon as I saw it. The waist tab was perfectly rectangular, not wrinkled or anything and the writing on it was kind of visible but that can b buffed off so easily So obvious that the tab was sewn on. I mean, at least try to make it look vintage

angiemc99 @laurelalyse ya I got a couple pairs but sent back. They're legit like urban renewal... u never know what ur gonna get. But sometimes they fit perfectly! I did get a pair that were sik but a sz too big. Sizing is diff for every pair... just like vintage! Hahaha

laurelalyse They say slim fit tapered leg 5jr and those other ones that were a 24 were 3jr. I find that the jr sizes hug better

angiemc99 @laurelalyse love! Just cut them lol frayed hems... that's another thing we can teach.... or discuss if peeps ask.. all u do is cut thru the seam and tear w hands.... then snip the other seam on other side. Don't have to cut all the way... makes much betta frayed HEM ❤️💕
