Vintage metal clamshell purse

Vintage metal clamshell purse with blue velvet lining and a clasp hook and eye closure on front. The metal on this purse is weathered due to its age however, cleaning up the patina will take away from the beauty of this vintage bag. All hook and latches are still working. However, they do seem loose and the lid is a tightly fitted on top. The sides have hooks to add a small chain to carry over your wrist or shoulder. If anyone is crafty and would like to bring this vintage purse back to life, it would make for a great project!
