Michiyuki were traditionally worn over the kimono to help protect it from the outside elements. The square neckline helps to show off the kimono underneath. This michiyuki does not have a front pocket like the others. It can be worn as a minidress and looks cute with a belt and leggings! It can fit a range of sizes, especially if you wear it as a shirt with Western skirt beneath as this helps if you cannot fully close over your hips.
