This Vintage mid-century Freeman-McFarlin ashtray a renowned California Pottery brand, popular in the 1960s-1970s. Originating in El Monte, California, produced this ashtray to embody the essence of mid-century modern design with its abstract, modernist, and retro aesthetic. Adorned with an amber, orange, and yellow glaze, the ceramic ashtray boasts vibrant hues that create a captivating lava-like pattern. Despite is classic history as an ashtray it shows no signs of use for its function. The only exception is the bottom of the ashtray has some marks as evident by the photos.
