Vintage middle 1948 - 1952 "OPERA" harmonica

Description This harmonica was made by an undetermined maker in the U.S. Occupation Zone Germany, 1948-1952. It is an Opera model in the key of C, with 16 double holes and 32 reeds. This harmonica has a brown stained wooden comb with metal cover plates attached to the top and bottom with nails. Accessioned with original metal box. The harmonica is stamped: Opera MADE IN GERMANY (and the box is printed): MADE IN GERMANY-US-ZONE
