Are there any worn corners or cracks in the patent near and or under the hinge pints where the frame comes together- particularly in the deep folds of the patent? How thick (wide) is the bottom, i.e., 2", 3", etc...?
By the by, this handbag pocketbook is from the late 60's - as most of this type were large to xx-large, it was also known as a "Daytime Pocketbook".

actually, patent vinyl which is a totally different material from patent leather.

@zzzzzz111111 added photos of the sides where the hinges are. on one side, there is a tiny cut in the vinyl from the hinge. and yes I knew it wasn't patient leather but my silly brain couldn't think of the right word and I was in a hurry to list! thanks for the correction
