Vintage potato masher with red handle

This vintage Androck potato masher from The Washburn Company in Worcester, Massachusetts, is a rare find for any farmhouse enthusiast. The stainless steel wavy-shaped masher is made with a red Bakelite handle that adds a pop of color to any kitchen. Measuring at 8.5 inches in height and 3 5/8 inches in width, there is etched lettering, "Androck Made in U.S.A." marking it as an authentic piece of vintage history. There are some slight tonalities in the handle but no cracks. Very sturdy! This original piece was manufactured in the United States between 1920-1949 and is a great addition to kitchen. I actually bought it as dead stock in the ‘70’s.
