Vintage powder-music box

Here we have a vintage powder-music box--likely 1930s to 40s although could be earlier--with wood base on three little wooden feet. The lid comes off and there is a small space that would have held a powder puff; hence, powder-music box. The music does not still play and I had it apart but I couldn’t fix it, and the top is just lovely. A paper print thatched house with a chapel in the background, down a dirt road lined with trees, with dried flowers under convex glass. The metal appears to be an aluminum alloy in a teal/blue color with silver accent. One minor spot it the aluminum notes in picture. Wonderful trinket holder.
