Vintage rare Monet (faux?) Pearl Necklace

This is a pre-owned double strand pearl necklace. The necklace is made of faux pearls and has a gold-tone clasp. The pearls are cream-colored and have a slight iridescent sheen. The necklace is approximately 18 inches long. The necklace is in good shape for its age, i think 1980s but not sure. Overall, the necklace is in good condition and would make a lovely addition to any jewelry collection. I don't know If they are real or faux so I am selling them for faux price. But they are gritty, which is a sign they could be real.
