Vintage rolled gold bent wire “Janelle” bracelet • excellent vintage condition

Originally known as novelty bracelets in the early 1900s these wire wrapped name bracelets were made at carnivals, such as the Atlantic boardwalk, on street corners and anywhere a wire artist could gather a crowd. Very few took this jewelry seriously nor did they take the art or artist seriously. Fast forward to today finding one of these is like finding a treasure and a bit of history! This listing is for an authentic hand made gold filled wire wrapped name bracelet, “Janelle” and with the twists and turns, two prong set red stones, as well as a nicely made clasp, it’s a beautiful handmade piece of jewelry “ready to wear” as well as a true work of art!
