Vintage sterling silver necklace with hematite pearl caged, 17" chain, NOS

This is new old stock from the estate of a jewelry collector and has not been out of the package. I did gently take the chain out to measure it for buyers. Otherwise it is still securely fastened in the jewelry case and I will not remove it. The "pearl" is hematite. There is a bit of age that shows in the case, not the jewelry. The necklace looks brand new which it is. A perfect ready to go gift. The Karen Lynne company was in business from 1954 closing in 1994. Their popularity was at its peak in the 1950s and 1960s. Based on the style of this necklace I would guess it was from the latest period of the company's existence and probably made in the 1980s.
