Vintage taffeta belted simple dress size Large

Not sure when this was constructed Possibly 50’s but who knows with this one!! Taffeta/ either raw silk or a polyester made to look like silk Repair at waist Bust 40” Length 41” The belt is custom and is grating at the buckle It fits a waist 33-36” Metal grommets The back closure is a plastic button and braided loop It is not beaded but it’s cut to look like it is. The seams are finished with a zig zag stitch I have on my 1964 singer sewing machine 😊 it’s before baby locking which makes me think it’s an older dress. It’s well made with a 6 panel skirt with tiny pin tuck gathers at the waist The bodice is simple Shoulder pads. - is this 50s?!? Anyway it’s a fun dress and I think you could really dress it up to be a y decade since it’s such a classic and the mod belt is fabulous Plus the price is right!!
