Vintage velvet tapestry and leather handbag

This vintage purse, probably from the 1950’s, is in extremely good condition. The fabric is perfect inside and out; does not appear to have been used at all. The handles are black leather and the closure is heavy metal with a patina near the hinges; perhaps brass? A very well made handbag and certainly a cool vintage piece.
