Vintage wool sweater vest

Vintage wool blend v neck sweater vest! Brand is McGREGOR. 70% wool, 30% acrylic. Burgundy / maroon with grayish purple stripe y pattern, some tan and sage green details in there too. Marked size medium but I’m not sure what gender this was designed for. Maybe women’s? If men’s, maybe it was shrunken because it seems too small to be a standard mens medium. Can provide measurements upon request - I typically wear a size medium for reference.
