Silver plate Souvenir 1930s Berry Lou Spoon Top spoon handle area is a detailed design of Betty Lou’s. Image shows Betty Lou’s face and her outfitted in a dress with sweater and shoes and sacks. There are wonderful etched detailing such as bows in her hair and raised polka dotted design on her dress and sweater vest. The name of Betty Lou is printed on the front handle. The back of handle spoon shows Betty Lou from the back. Printed on the back handle are the words Carlton Silver Plate. Betty Lou was a 1930s radio character, and the show was sponsored by Quaker Oats. The spoon was part part an advertising premium give away.
