Vintage/Antique Rolled Gold Covering Hand Carved Floral Cameo Brooch Pendant

I am offering a beautiful hand carved floral cameo brooch/pendant. The cameo itself measures approximately 1 1/4 inches in width and 2 inches in length. It also has a beautiful design on the back. The chain measures approximately 19 inches in total length. There is a marking on the chain that I cannot make out. I don't know if it's silver or white gold. I would opt for silver since this is a product of Italy. This piece comes in its original box. It is quite old. Definitely vintage if not antique.
