Vintage copyrighted 1968 Marimekko cotton dress in navy blue with a dark pink floral print. Shirt collar with four buttons down the front and pintuck pleating down the front bust. Button cuff sleeves, darted bust and a straight fit thru the bust and hips. Dress is made of a medium weight cotton that pulls on. Comes with it's original matching fabric tie belt but also looks great worn unbelted. This dress has a copyright tag from 1968 and a label from Design Research, the iconic fashion and lifestyle store in Cambridge Massachusetts that introduced Marimekko to the US and carried it exclusively in the states until 1976.
