Vintage handcrafted abalone lapis lazuli stone mosaic tribal medallion necklace

Beautiful unique abalone irredecant medallion necklace with beautiful authentic lapis lazuli stones or sodalite stones. Both of these stones are almost identical so I am not 100% which these are but they do look like lapis but I am not quite yet a stone expert so when in doubt I price my pieces according to the lower priced stones as I've done with this piece being the sodalite so if they are lapis you are REALLY getting a steal! The medallion is 2.25" long x 1.25" wide with an amazing intricate pattern & a gorgeous array of iridescent colors put off from the abalone shell. There are 2 large rhinestones & several authentic purple/blue/white stones. There is a tiny missing upper left corner piece pictured in the 2nd pic blown up for you to see from my dropping it when I took out of its display case to take pics for this listing :( however it isn't noticeable while you are wearing & does not affect the piece but as is my policy I have greatly discounted it because of this though it is still valued at the listed price in the condition it is. The necklace is silvertone & 28 1/2 long + 3 1/2" extension. New w/defect
