Designed by Virgil Abloh—artist, designer, artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear, and founder of Off-White™—for the ICA exhibition Virgil Abloh: "Figures of Speech," on view July 3-September 26, 2021. Abloh established Pyrex Vision, his first fashion brand, in 2012, screen-printing “Pyrex,” “23,” and images of a painting by 16th-century Italian Renaissance artist Caravaggio onto store-bought sweatshirts, shorts, socks, and plaid shirts. Pyrex nods to the glassware used in home drug labs and “23” to the jersey number worn by basketball star Michael Jordan.
