Reposhing this item I purchased from @chelchis. Unfortunately, these beautiful shoes are too short and too tight for my toes (due in large part to the slightly-tapered toebox at the big toe) and heels (due to the tightly-pulled elastic), by about a half size. In my opinion, these shoes fit more like either a true-to-size 7.5 (38.5) or 8 (39). Sadly, these were never manufactured in a size 9.5 / 40.5. For reference, I normally wear sizes 8-8.5 / 39-39.5 (or as large as size 9 / 40) in dress shoes and ballet flats; and sizes 9-10 / 40-41 in casual shoes and boots.
