Voigtländer Vitomatic 35mm viewfinder camera with 50mm F2.8 lens

The Voigtländer Vitomatic I is a compact and heavy 35mm viewfinder camera made by Voigtländer in Germany from 1957 to 1960. The camera is very well built and perhaps its most noticeable feature is the huge viewfinder which was made out of a single piece of crystal making it extremely appealing to users wearing prescription glasses. It is fitted with an excellent Color-Skopar 50mm F2.8 lens in Prontor SLK-V leaf shutter. The lens is capable of extremely high detail images. Untested-comes with Kodak series VI lens hood. All manual moving parts are in working order. Notes from someone familiar with this camera model: 'Shutter fires. No idea if speeds are accurate. No oil on shutter blades. Light meter reacts, no idea if accurate.'
