WHAT IT IS From the Clarifying Collection. Blemishes are small, localized infections. Treating them with harsh, drying chemicals doesn’t help them to heal. Instead, it triggers the formation of thick, scaly skin. Infection is trapped, the cycle of healing takes longer, and scarring and skin discoloration are worse. Treating a blemish with plant oils is logical. The oil instantly soaks into and softens the skin. The active ingredients can penetrate and get to work quickly. 2% salicylic acid dissolves compacted skin cells and penetrates deep into the pores. It takes with it tamanu oil, a healing antiseptic. Tamanu tackles redness and inflammation and calms infection. Skin stays soft and supple which means it’s quicker to heal. Scarring and marking are minimized. 0.5 oz.
