This vintage postcard from the 1904-1918 (AZO Triangles) features six young ladies dressed in New England Edwardian fashion, although it is unclear whether they are sisters or just friends. The setting includes a large mansion in the background, a river or lake, and an English Setter Pointer dog. The young ladies are sitting on what appears to be a wagon, making for a charming scene.
The postcard is an original real photo (RPPC) by AZO, manufactured in the United States in the early 1900s. It is a standard size of 5.5 x 3.5 inches and has a divided back, but it has not been posted. This unique piece of history is perfect for collectors of topographical postcards and fans of vintage photography.
None of these young ladies are identified. I made grand leaps to conclusions. I feel relative sure the photo was taken in the New England area, given the dresses. It’s a neat real photo, with a puppy dog in the photo.
