Offered for sale is a beautiful (tea cup & saucer, . The set was made in California by Hollywood Craftsman (acquired by Metlox). The pattern is called Autumn Bloom, and features a cream colored background with cheery hand painted orange and yellow flowers and green leaves around the border. Autumn Bloom is the same pattern as Delphinium, but the color combination is different. Delphinium had pink flowers, and was introduced in 1942. Autumn Bloom was brought to market in 1946. Over the years, some pieces were marked Metlox, some (like these saucers) were marked Hollywood Craftsman, and some were marked California Craftsman. Still others (cups) have no mark at all. The cup stands 2 1/2 inches (6.4cm) tall, and measures 3 1/2 inches (8.9cm) in diameter at the rim.
