Vtg. 2 1/2" Occupied Japan Ceramic Figurine Singer Accordion Player with Puppy

This vintage "Made in Occupied Japan" ceramic figurine depicts a young performer with a charming puppy. After World War II and the defeat of Japan, the United States led the allies in the occupation and rehabilitation of the Japanese state from 1945-1952. This hand-painted accordion player is a collectors' piece from the period of history. The figurine is hand-painted with a glazed finish.
