Vintage 1940s/50 Swimplay Suit Styled by Lee. Black cotton with a white abstract print. Bust has plastic boning and is lined with a stiff fabric for bullet effect. Elastic inside at the waist. Lined with black acetate cotton bloomers with elastic legs. Ruched elastic sides. Zips up the back with a metal zipper. Straps button in the back. Good condition. Shows age appropriate wear. No rips or holes. Pink staining inside the bust. Straps have some wear at the attachment seams. There is some pink staining on the inside of the bust. Tagged size 14/36. Laid flat and measured. Bust (armpit to armpit) - 15 inches Waist - 14 inches Hips (measured at the liner) - 14 inches Length - 32 inches Strap Length - 8 inches
